Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, as Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales of BlueBiz Consulting Solutions and Services within a set of Enterprise Accounts located in the Toronto/GTA geography, exceeding sales objectives. You will manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation and management, qualification, evaluation, close and account care. This role is a quota-carrying sales position that plays an integral role in the success of the overall sales team.

Job Functions

  • Define and execute territory / account sales plans for Toronto geographic territory and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities within the assigned Named Accounts
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline
  • Manage and track customer and transactional information in a CRM system
  • Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering
  • Provide initial product demonstrations and general support to prospective customers
  • Nurture and expand the company’s relationship with customer accounts of all sizes
  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through the CRM system
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staff
  • Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care
  • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts
  • Other duties as assigned 

Who you are

  • 3+ years of sales experience of Business Intelligence and Analytics Consulting Services and enterprise software. You’ve worked with sales to midsized and large companies and have, at least, six-figure deal experience.
  • Domain. Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence preferred. Bachelor’s Degree with a technical or business focus preferred.
  • Consistent overachievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory.
  • Amazing Salesperson. You have a desire, even an obsession, to bring new customers to BlueBiz Consulting and maximize revenue. You are a hunter; you are a farmer; you are a closer.
  • Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it.

Day to Day Specifications 

  • VIRTUAL office (we provide the equipment)
  • Prescheduled weekly meetings with Managing Director in Downtown Toronto office
  • Random, on-demand, non-scheduled meetings when required by the Managing Director (location TBD)
  • Monthly fixed + commission salary, based on predefined sales quota/week/month/year
  • Customer-related expenses covered
